Friends, this is the first time I have made the tough decision to take a break from custom bag and accessory orders. I have had a very busy year so far and I need to make some time to play with fabric and thread and also to add some new, one of a kind items to my inventory.
The Fall 2025 craft markets were very successful indeed and I have been shocked to discover how few of my handcrafted toiletry bags, crossbody bags, totes, clutches and zipper pouches remain.
I have some new bag and accessory patterns that I want to try out and I have some really beautiful fabrics that I can’t wait to work with. Bit by bit, I am becoming more comfortable with my Janome embroidery machine and Artistic Digitizer software. It is a steep learning curve indeed.
Increasingly, I am enjoying upcycling denim and I will be using pockets and fabric from Levis for some of my upcoming sewing projects.
